How many joints are in a pre-roll pack?
It depends on the brand. Singles are one joint, and multi-packs run from two up to five or more, usually with each joint around half a gram. The pack weight and the joint count are both printed on the label, so the price per joint is a quick division once you are holding it. If you are trying a strain for the first time, a single tells you more than a five pack.
Is a pre-roll weaker than the same flower in a jar?
Not by design, but freshness and grind decide a lot. A fresh pre-roll from a case that turns over smokes the same as the flower it was rolled from. One that has sat for months dries out and burns hot and harsh, which reads as weaker even when the THC number is identical.
