The math vs eight eighths
Eight separate eighths of the same strain cost more than one 28 gram jar almost every time. The counter prices by weight, so the ounce is where the rate drops. The trade-off is committing to one cultivar instead of mixing the week.
If you already know a strain, buy the ounce. If you want to try three things, buy eighths. The dispensary deals board moves ounce pricing through the week, and Flower Friday is the usual day that rate gets sharper.
What an ounce looks like in the counter
Ounce jars sit on the same exotic flower shelf as the grams and eighths. Stock changes through the week. The online menu is the list of what is actually in the building today, not a catalog of everything we have ever carried.
New York lets one person buy up to three ounces of flower at a time. The register tracks it. Bring a government photo ID showing 21 or older.
Walk in, pickup, or same-day delivery
An ounce is a held item. If a jar is showing in stock on the menu, it is in the counter. Small-batch drops sell through, which is the reason to order ahead rather than drive over and hope.
Walk in
Free parking in front at 9200 Niagara Falls Blvd. The flower counter is a few steps past the door.
Order ahead
Pick the ounce on the menu, choose pickup, and it is usually bagged in about 15 minutes.
Delivery
Dispensary delivery covers Niagara Falls, the Tonawandas, Wheatfield, Lewiston and Sanborn on store hours.
Before you buy the jar
Is an ounce always cheaper than eight eighths?
On the same strain, yes, almost always. The gap is the point of the size. Mixing eight different eighths will cost more than one ounce, and that is a different shop than stocking one cultivar.
How many ounces can I buy in one visit?
Up to three ounces of flower per person. The counter tracks it on the purchase. Concentrates have a separate 24 gram cap.
Do ounce deals apply to pickup and delivery?
Yes. The same board price applies at the counter, on pickup, and on same-day delivery.
Will the ounce I see online still be there if I drive over?
Not always. Small batches move. Order ahead if you want that jar held.
